Head of Bakery

Responsibilities

• Manage daily bakery operations, including production schedules, ingredient preparation, and the entire baking process.
• Lead, mentor, and train bakery staff, ensuring a collaborative and efficient team environment.
• Address and troubleshoot issues related to equipment, ingredients, or production processes.
• Maintain high standards of product quality and consistency.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure proper stock levels for baking materials.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Implement cost control measures and optimize resource usage.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in bakery operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of bakery production processes, including ingredient handling and equipment operation.
• Proven experience in managing a team and conducting staff training.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams.
• Passion for producing high‑quality, creative baked goods.

Graduation in a relevant field (e.g., Culinary Arts, Food Technology, or related). Post‑graduation or additional courses related to baking or management are a plus.
