CAD Technologist | Building Engineering

We are currently seeking a CAD Technologist to join our Building Engineering Division to workoutof our Kingston office.

• Prepare building envelope and structural repair drawings for a variety of building restoration projects using current Autodesk CAD software
• Use Sketchup and Photoshop software to prepare renderings for cladding renovation projects
• Additional duties, as assigned

• Diploma in Architectural Technician/Technology or Civil Engineering Technician/Technology
• 0-2years of experience in a similar role(including co-op experience)
• Certified Technician (C.Tech.) or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)designationor working towards
  
  C.Tech. or C.E.T. designation
• Architectural Technologist (MAATO) designation, or working towards MAATO designation;
• Experienced with AutoCAD software
• Knowledge of a variety of software including CAD, Sketchup and Photoshop
• Understanding of applicable design standards, Ontario Building Code,and general engineering principles
• Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail

Salary Range

$23.79 – $29.74per hour, plus benefits

Hourly Wage will be based on individual education, qualifications, and relevant work experience.
