In this senior role, you will interface with facilities staff while providing leadership and technical evaluation of mechanical engineering projects. You will also contribute to strategic planning and oversee the application of engineering standards and policies. Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure efficient design and maintenance of mechanical systems that align with university goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and improve Mechanical Engineering Design Standards
• Participate in reviews of major construction projects
• Provide guidance to the operations team on mechanical issues
• Design custom solutions for renovations and maintenance
• Lead the development of strategic plans for Engineering and Operations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Licensed P.Eng with relevant experience
• 5+ years in mechanical system design and code application
• Leadership experience in an engineering context
• Valid driver’s license and clear criminal record check
