Role DescriptionAs a Lecturer at Coleg Cambria you will be required to deliver both practical and classroom based learning to our students. You will also be responsible for enrolling students on appropriate courses, provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities, and ensuring the safety and welfare of our students at all times.
Essential Requirements- Qualified to a minimum of Level 4 or equivalent in a professionally relevant subject matter
- Must be a qualified teacher and hold either a PGCE, Cert Ed or C&G 7407
- Experience teaching Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC learners, and/or GCSE Business
- Ability to promote and facilitate bilingual learning
- Ability to promote Welsh language as a skill for employment
Welsh Language skills are an essential requirement for this role. Candidates need to be at Level 3 and demonstrate a commitment to achieving fluency. Coleg Cambria is committed to supporting this development through a tailored professional development plan. A Welsh Language skills assessment will form part of the selection process to identify competence, confidence and suitability for a development plan.
