Description:

APRN or PA-C for Outpatient Primary Care, under physician supervision, provides patient-focused care across the age spectrum with emphasis on preventive, acute and chronic disease management in outpatient settings.

• Performs physical examinations and assesses injuries or illnesses for pediatric through geriatric patients, including women’s health.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests (e.g., routine laboratory, X-ray) as appropriate.
• Manages acute and chronic conditions both independently and in collaboration with physicians.
• Monitors patient progress and makes referrals to physicians or specialists as needed.
• Collaborates with physician supervisors and staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care and staff support.
• Maintains professional growth and demonstrates compassionate, patient-centered care.

• Enthusiastic team player with strong medical decision-making and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adaptability to change.
• Commitment to delivering excellent patient-focused care.

• Master’s degree in nursing (FNP/APRN) or Physician Assistant studies.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical practice in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred.
• Experience treating patients of all ages with a variety of acute and chronic conditions is highly preferred.

• Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license.
• Current, valid DEA license.
• ANCC, AANP or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification.
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.

• 4- or 5‑day schedule, depending on practice location.
• Minimal call and holiday rotation.
