Accounting Manager

Position: Accounting Manager ON
Take charge as an Accounting Manager at a Canadian tech firm in Kitchener, ON. Manage month-end close and direct financial reporting while enjoying a hybrid work model.

This newly elevated position reports directly to the Corporate Controller, emphasizing ownership of the multi-entity month-end close process. You will be responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis within a software and manufacturing environment. Collaborate with Operations, FP&A, and IT for systems improvement and process documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive month-end close across multiple entities and currencies

• Produce clean account reconciliations for Controller sign-off

• Handle cost allocation entries and consolidation work

• Develop internal financial statements and audit packages

• Maintain accounting for inventory, WIP, and fixed assets

Requirements:

• CPA designation with 6 to 10 years of experience

• Proven multi-entity consolidation experience

• Background in manufacturing or SaaS environments

• Proficient in IFRS, ASPE, and advanced Excel

• Strong ERP knowledge, preferably Epicor
