Position: CDL Class A or B Delivery Driver - Kodiak Island at US Foods Kodiak, AK

Responsibilities
  • Schedule:

    Monday–Friday, start time 6 am until completion.
  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using a pallet jack, two‑wheeler, or by hand, and place them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Perform all pre‑trip and post‑trip equipment inspections.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class B or Class A issued by the state of legal residence, with the necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops (10+ per shift).
  • Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
  • Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills; able to understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and enter information on reports and records.
  • Preferred ability to operate a manual transmission; may be required in specific locations.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base rate: $31.01 – $37.55 per hour, depending on experience, education, and geographic location.
