Financial Audit Manager

Our Firm announces Job Vacancy – Financial Audit Manager in Audit and Other Services Department.

To be responsible for managing the financial audit related services portfolio and commencing from receiving the engagement letter up to the engagement implementation and successful closure with the clients, while ensuring compliance with professional and quality standards. The role also includes leading the audit team and supervising their performance, as well as providing continuous training and guidance to develop their knowledge and professional competencies, and enhance the value delivered to clients.

• Mastery of International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including ongoing updates thereof.
• Mastery of Companies Law No. (1) of 2016 and its Executive Regulations, as amended.
• Mastery of Law No. (6) of 2010 concerning Employment in the Private Sector and its Executive Regulations, as amended.
• Mastery of Law No. (7) of 2010 concerning the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and the Regulation of Securities Activities and its Executive Regulations, as amended.

- Engagements

• Prepare the annual promotional plan for the Department’s services in collaboration with the Business Development Department.
• Prepare technical and financial proposals for the Department’s services submitted to clients.
• Prepare client engagement letters for the Department’s services.
• Supervise the implementation of engagements with clients and provide support to the team as and when needed.
• Prepare the monthly report on the management of the audit and other services contract portfolio, and the available human resources compared to the planned resources.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct manager.

- Team Management

• Lead audit teams, allocate tasks considering their competencies and experience, and monitor their performance to ensure adherence to professional audit standards.
• Develop and build the professional capabilities of audit teams through regular training and on-the-job guidance.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is an extra advantage.

• Proficiency in using automated audit and financial reporting software.
• Ability to draft reports and presentations in English language. Proficiency in Arabic language is an extra advantage.
• Strong leadership skills in managing and motivating teams.
• High efficiency in time and project management.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
• Effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
