Senior Accountant - محاسب أول

CZAR Fragrances is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Kuwait City. In this role, you will own the day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting across the business.

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, journal entries, and month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including supplier and customer reconciliations.
• Manage inventory and cost accounting for fragrance products, monitoring stock valuation and margins.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with Kuwaiti tax, Zakat, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors and support the annual audit.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA) is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and full-cycle accounting.
• Hands-on experience with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., Zoho Books, Quick Books, SAP, or Oracle).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of Kuwaiti tax, Zakat, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Fluency in English;
