Qualified chief accountant

Description:

Seeking a highly qualified Chief Accountant to join our team.

• Managing and supervising daily accounting operations.
• Preparing financial statements and reports in compliance with standards.
• Monitoring budgets, costs, and project financials.
• Ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Coordinating with internal departments and external auditors.
• Handling bank transactions and letters of credit (LCs).
• Follow up on collections and invoices.
• Coordinating with external auditors.
• Responsible for monthly and yearly P/L.
• Managing procurement and warehousing.
• Managerial reports.

• Kuwait residency is a must.
• Strong experience in accounting and financial management, preferably within the trading and contracting sector.
• Good knowledge of trading finance activities (LCs, LGs, etc.).
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to oversee accounting operations and manage financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English.
• Non-Arabic speakers preferred.
• Preferably with Odoo system experience.
• Professional certification such as CMA, CFA, or CPA is required.
