Position SummaryThe Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of restaurant, including budgeting, financial reporting, cost control, payroll accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards. This role ensures proper financial planning, accurate recording of transactions, and effective cash flow management across all branches and production units. The Finance Manager supports business growth by providing financial insights, controlling expenses, and maintaining strong financial discipline.

1. Financial Planning & Budget Management
- Prepare annual budgets and monthly financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance versus budget and highlight areas for improvement.
- Support management with financial insights to guide business decisions.
- Ensure all departments follow approved budget limits and financial procedures.
- Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation.
- Review and approve all financial documents, invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare monthly profit/loss statements, balance sheets, and financial analysis reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely closing of monthly and yearly accounts.
- Monitor food cost, labor cost, utilities, and operational expenses.
- Work closely with Operations and Executive Chef to control wastage and optimize cost efficiency.
- Develop and enforce cost-saving initiatives across branches.
- Review inventory reports, variance reports, and cost breakdowns.
- Ensure proper control of daily sales deposits, cash handling, and branch collections.
- Monitor revenue streams and validate branch sales reports.
- Ensure cash flow stability to support operational and financial commitments.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments or supplier reconciliations.
- Oversee preparation and accuracy of monthly payroll.
- Verify attendance, overtime, deductions, and adjustments in coordination with HR.
- Ensure timely salary payments and compliance with labor regulations.
- Maintain confidential employee financial records.
- Review and approve supplier invoices after verification of goods/services received.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, and QC for supplier reconciliation.
- Manage payment schedules to ensure positive relationships with vendors.
- Evaluate supplier contracts for cost effectiveness.
- Ensure all financial practices comply with local regulations and accounting standards.
- Implement internal control procedures to reduce financial risks.
- Prepare for and support external/internal audits.
- Ensure proper documentation and secure record keeping of all financial data.
- Prepare financial dashboards, KPI reports, and analytical summaries for management.
- Provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Support strategic planning and business expansion decisions with financial data.
- Assist GM and management in special financial projects or capital planning.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, costing, and budgeting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
