Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control costs across:
- Operations
- Projects
- Service activities
- Analyze cost structure and actual spending
- Track profitability by project / activity
- Identify cost overruns and propose corrective actions
- Support definition of standard costs and target margins
- Prepare and maintain:
- Monthly P&L
- Project / activity margin reports
- KPI tracking (revenue, margin, backlog, cost performance)
- Perform actual vs budget analysis and explain variances
- Provide clear and actionable reports to management
- Supervise:
- Accounts Payable / Receivable
- General Ledger
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing
- Coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain basic internal controls
- Work closely with:
- Operations
- Procurement
- Project Managers
- Monitor:
- Cost vs budget
- Margin evolution
- Financial performance of activities
- Support pricing and commercial decisions
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity
- Track receivables and support collection activities
- Improve visibility on working capital
- 5–8 years of experience in:
- Accounting and/or controlling roles
- Experience in:
- Project-based or operational businesses preferred
- Background in medium-sized companies is a strong plus
- Strong Excel skills (mandatory)
- Experience with ERP systems (basic to intermediate)
- Knowledge of:
- Cost control
- Budgeting and forecasting
Basic financial reporting
- Hands‑on and detail‑oriented
- Autonomous and reliable
- Practical, problem‑solving mindset
- Comfortable working in lean organizations
- Improve cost visibility and control
- Deliver reliable and timely reporting
- Support profitability improvement
- Build simple but effective financial processes
