Experienced Tool & Die Maker - High Impact Troubleshooting + Shift Premium (2nd Shift, LaFayette, GA)
Shift: 2nd (2:45pm-11:15pm)

How You'll Create Possibilities
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair dies in press during production
- Maintain and rebuild stamping dies, tooling, and components
- Polish draw dies to reduce friction and improve part quality
- Run manual & CNC machining equipment and EDM
- Install, adjust, and optimize die performance
- Inspect finished work for accuracy, smoothness, and contour
- Communicate across shifts to ensure continuity
- Complete PM sheets and maintain safety & 5S standards
What You Bring
- 2+ years of stamping die repair or die making
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, prints, and die designs
- Machining experience (grinding, milling, turning)
- Strong troubleshooting under pressure
- Understanding of modern press & stamping principles
- CAD/CAM, CNC machining, Proto Trak, Wire EDM, apprenticeship training
- Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to cut precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Program or edit programs using machine controls or CAM software as needed
- 2+ years of Wire EDM machining experience in a manufacturing or tool & die environment
- Experience with precision machining and tight tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T
- Familiarity with CAM programming or EDM machine controls is a plus
