Operations Supervisor

IDR is seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Supervisor to join one of our top clients in Lafayette, Indiana. • Promote a Culture of Zero by ensuring compliance with safety protocols and conducting incident investigations
• Act as the management representative during off-hours, including weekends and holidays
• Oversee staffing:
  Manage schedules, job assignments, and vacation coverage
• Lead Tier 1 Daily Accountability processes with team leaders and facilitate daily huddles
• Drive efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S Lean Principles

• Energetic, forward-thinking, and proactive with excellent communication skills
• Proven experience in hands-on leadership and team development within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to articulate leadership impact with hands-on examples
• Experience in manufacturing leadership or supervisory roles is preferred
• College degree is preferred but not required; practical experience is valued over formal education
• NIGHT SHIFT: 6PM TO 6AM
• 2-2-3 swing shift:
  Work 2 days, then off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days, work 2 days, and then off 3 days. This cycle then repeats.
• In 14 days, you would work 7, and be off every other Fri, Sat, Sun
