Construction Labor / Trades, Heavy Equipment Operator
Our growing company is looking for a hard-working and skilled construction worker to help bring our construction plans to life! Under our construction manager’s direction, you will work alongside a team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen, and apply your knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment to keep the project on track. You must have previous job-site experience, an OSHA 10 card, and have a great work ethic and physical stamina.

• Assist sub-contractors, tradesmen, and craft workers like roofers, plasterers, carpenters, painters, and electricians as needed
• Build temporary structures such as signs, cones, barricades, ramps, and other devices to control traffic around the construction site and tear down old structures
• Remove debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean to meet safety regulations and OSHA requirements
• Transfer, carry, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, lumber, tile, saws, grout, etc.
• Follow all directions of the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accurately
• Execute construction tasks with precision, ensuring each project meets our high standards of quality and safety
• Collaborate with the construction manager and team to interpret and implement detailed construction plans
• Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently
• Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, maintaining a tidy and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion
• Identify and report any potential issues or hazards on site, contributing to a safe working environment for all
• Adapt to various tasks and challenges, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills as needed
Qualifications:
• Strong depth perception, good eye-hand coordination, and mechanical skills are helpful
• Possess a valid drivers license
• Experience working on a construction site, understanding of blueprints and construction plans, and knowledge of construction tools, methods, and equipment is required
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions such as extreme temperatures and rain
• Physical stamina and physical strength are needed Compensation: $25 - $28 hourly
