Louisiana LNG is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant LNG production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. The facility will include five identical process plants with associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000 m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.

In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely.

You will provide knowledge, expertise, input and consultative support for the Building subcontractor required for construction, commissioning and startup and also you will lead a team and supervise and/or craft professionals on a project for the project direct scope of works.

You will participate in work planning and packaging including coordination of interface activity between project and building subcontractor, turnover coordination, quality control, and environmental safety and health. You will direct craft professionals, plan work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets.

• Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor management staff within the area of responsibility.
• Roles supports projects of moderate complexity and few stakeholders involved.
• Supports building subcontractor for main building scope of work construction and reviews subcontractor planning, daily report/validation and prepares daily construction/interface reports.
• Supports interface works and coordination, execution of direct scope of works and building subcontractor scope of works coordination.
• Supports construction and commissioning activities related to the building services of various facilities.
• Plans and schedules all construction activities sequence and resource requirements for assigned areas of responsibility that will be required by contractors and project.
• Reviews contractor submissions for building services.
• Supervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned and planning as required for direct scope.

• Planning / Productivity
• Prepares construction drawings and sketches.
• Develops planning construction methods and procedures.
• Develops projections and schedules for workforce, material, and equipment requirements.

• Safety / Quality
• Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements.
• Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.

• Technical
• Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals in interpreting engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents.
• Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, Foremen, and Craft Professionals.
• Coordinates with Design on constructability issues.

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.

• Administration of subcontracts scope of works including knowledge of and skill in communicating effectively with subcontractors and administration of commitments, monitoring subcontractor performance, associated labor laws, and the resolution of claims and disputes.
