Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year.

We are a growing civil engineering firm seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This full‑time, permanent position focuses on petroleum‑based projects and offers full benefits, including a direct hire opportunity with comprehensive benefits.

• Design, plan, and oversee the construction of new buildings and structures, and the alteration and extension of existing ones.
• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for construction projects using computer‑aided design (CAD) software.
• Analyze the structural integrity of buildings and structures, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Work closely with architects, construction managers, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction is carried out in accordance with design and building regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports on the progress and outcomes of construction projects.
• Apply expert knowledge of petroleum‑based construction materials and techniques to optimize design and construction processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in structural engineering and the construction industry.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is an asset).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Structural Engineer in the construction industry, focusing on petroleum‑based projects.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and industry standards.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A strong commitment to safety and sustainability in the construction industry.
