OPERATOR - Stock Control - Night Shift (US)

Job title: Operator - Stock Control - Night Shift
Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Lakeland, FL USA
Hours: Shift: Night Shift - Full Time

The Experienced Operator performs advanced production and inventory tasks across multiple operational areas, including blending, distillation, Treattarome processing, and stock control. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting team objectives. Operators at this level may assist in training new staff, troubleshoot equipment issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This is a night shift position on the stock control team.

What you’ll be doing
  • Independently operate and monitor production equipment such as blending tanks, stills, and pumps.
  • Perform complex material handling tasks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other tools.
  • Conduct quality checks and document readings, measurements, and product specifications.
  • Dispense, label, and package products with precision and compliance to standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts using JDE or similar systems.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations, including staging and documentation.
  • Lead sanitation and cleaning procedures for equipment and work areas.
  • Identify and elevate equipment or process issues; assist in troubleshooting.
  • Mentor entry‑level operators and support onboarding and cross‑training efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety protocols, and operational standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Operators may specialize in one or more of the following areas:

  • Blending:
    Lead blend preparation, tank sanitation, and documentation.
  • Treattarome:
    Operate stills, conduct sensory evaluations, and ensure material integrity.
  • Distillation:
    Manage distillation processes, monitor equipment, and handle refined materials.
  • Stock Control:
    Oversee inventory movement, cycle counts, and logistics coordination.
What we’re looking for
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in production, inventory, or logistics roles.
  • Forklift and Hazardous Materials certifications strongly preferred.

Qualified applicants should possess the following abilities:

  • Valid forklift and Hazardous Materials certifications.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP).
  • Ability to perform accurate weight measurements.
  • Knowledge of standard to metric conversions.
  • Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Safely operate a forklift in a production environment, practicing a safe work habit at all times.
  • Read, write and produce legible written documentation.
  • Stand for long periods, and walk, kneel and stoop on a regular basis.
  • Twist, bend, stretch and climb on a regular basis.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Perform basic math equations.
  • Work overtime including nights and weekends when business needs require.
Working Conditions

This is a production environment that is cool in the winter and warm in the summer. Some duties are performed in cold rooms and freezers. This environment can be noisy and wet s position requires work at elevations above 20 feet.
