Senior Financial Analyst

• Leverage financial systems and work cross-functionally to deliver monthly/quarterly analysis and reporting, including variances to plan, to ensure key issues, risks, and business drivers are clearly communicated.
• Proactively identify and analyze business issues and opportunities, including recommendations for future actions.
• Initiate, lead, and manage projects which will improve current business results and deliver against strategy.
• Partner with key stakeholders to drive financial efficiency projects/initiatives.
• Perform financial analysis for new product/business opportunities or cost savings initiatives, while collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Accounting teams.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.

Must have:

• MS Excel: work with large data sets, advanced pivots, sumifs, xlookups, formatting/presentation
• Attention to detail: reconciling data between systems, across various reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy of reporting.
• Variance analytics: review trends, identify outliers, investigate root cause, identify next steps.
• Profit & Loss: understand the basics of a P&L statement
• Independent thinking: ability to take direction quickly and apply to deliverable, problem solve as well as recommend solutions
• Communication: will be working cross functionally with other FP&A team members, including managers and above
