We are seeking a motivated and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Lamar Estates Skilled Nursing Facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our residents and staff.
Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Director at 428 Healthcare, you will be responsible for supervising maintenance staff, conducting routine inspections, and implementing maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with Life Safety Regulations. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive hourly salary range of $21 - $23.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including assigning tasks and ensuring completion of work orders
Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and grounds to identify potential maintenance needs
Develop and implement maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with Life Safety Regulations
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment repairs
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues and ensure seamless operations
Perform minor building repairs, cleaning gutters, and landscaping needs as needed
Lift, bend, and move heavy objects safely and efficiently
Requirements:
2+ years of experience working preferably in a maintenance or environmental role
Working knowledge of Life Safety Regulations, minor building repairs, OSHA requirements, and ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects
Reliable transportation for picking up maintenance supplies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent required
