We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support infotainment ECU development and validation activities within an automotive engineering environment. The candidate will be responsible for laboratory setup, electrical wiring, instrumentation, and execution of electrical tests for Info Conn/Infotainment electronic control units (ECUs).
Key Responsibilities- Support lab setup and preparation for infotainment ECU testing and validation activities.
- Perform electrical wiring, harness setup, bench preparation, and equipment configuration.
- Execute electrical and functional tests for infotainment ECUs and related automotive electronic systems.
- Operate and maintain lab instrumentation including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, data acquisition systems, and signal generators.
- Assist engineers with troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution during testing activities.
- Support ECU flashing, connectivity testing, and hardware integration activities.
- Document test procedures, observations, and test results accurately.
- Ensure proper handling of test equipment, safety standards, and lab organization.
- Collaborate with validation, hardware, and systems engineering teams to support project deliverables.
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience supporting electrical testing or lab activities in automotive or embedded systems environments.
- Basic understanding of automotive ECUs, infotainment systems, or embedded electronics.
- Hands‑on experience with electrical wiring, instrumentation, and test equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and connector pinouts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience working with automotive infotainment or connectivity systems.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, or other automotive communication protocols.
- Exposure to ECU validation and hardware testing environments.
- Familiarity with safety and laboratory best practices.
