Key Responsibilities:
Production Scheduling
- Create, update, and maintain job routers within the ERP system.
- Execute and maintain production schedules in alignment with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and defined priorities.
- Schedule the Materials Technology Center in ERP system.
- Review shortage reports, production dashboards, and system alerts to identify scheduling conflicts and delays.
- Escalate capacity conflicts, material constraints, or priority conflicts to the Master Scheduler or Materials Manager for resolution.
- Process orders through Contract Review
- Expedite, reschedule, or cancel job routers as required to meet customer demand or operational priorities.
- Process job splits, remakes, and adjustments as necessary to support production.
- Review time-phase planning reports and adjust schedules accordingly.
- Prints and assemble job routers.
- Receive and issue material to job routers within ERP system as necessary.
- Collaborate with Materials and Purchasing team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for scheduled production.
- Monitor and maintain Blank inventory levels of Kanban, ring blanks and blocks materials to prevent shortages.
- Review completed job routers to confirm all required production steps and documentation are finalized.
- Identify discrepancies or errors and coordinate with accounting or relevant departments to resolve them.
- Close job router in ERP system once completion requirements have been met.
- Maintain organized digital records of job routers.
- Scan job router package into designated electronic systems.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and accessible for operational or audit purposes
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Education:
- High school diploma required
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning/scheduling, preferably in high mix-low volume manufacturing environments.
- Other requirements:
- This position may require access to ITAR-controlled technical data and services. As such, all applicants must be U.S. persons, as defined by ITAR, to be considered for this role. A U.S. person is a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or individual with protected status under U.S. immigration laws. Applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered for the position
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of production planning principles, scheduling techniques, and inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Understanding of ERP system and Microsoft Office products, strong computer skills.
