Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax engagements, develop staff, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. This role is ideal for a CPA who brings strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a process-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned tax clients
• Lead client meetings and manage expectations effectively
• Review federal, state, and local tax returns
• Prepare and review tax planning strategies and projections
• Handle tax notices, correspondence, and audits
• Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff
• Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one check-ins
• Ensure quality control and timely delivery of all engagements
• Monitor budgets, deadlines, and workflow
• Drive process improvements and leverage technology solutions

Qualifications

• CPA required (EA considered with strong leadership experience)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5-7 years of progressive tax experience
• Proven experience managing and developing tax professionals
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Position Details:

• Pay Rate / Range:__105,000 - $125,000 annually

The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
