Minimum 1+ year school psychologist experience required.

Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team. This full-time position involves working closely with students, families, and staff to provide prehensive social work services that support students' academic and social-emotional development. The ideal candidate will be mitted to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement intervention plans to support student well-being and success.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address student needs.
• Connect students and families with munity resources and services.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Position Details:

• Full-time: 37.5 hours per week

Educational Requirements:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development, family dynamics, and social-emotional learning.

Michigan

Certifications:

• Valid Michigan Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker Endorsement.
• pletion of all necessary continuing education requirements to maintain certification.
• Background check and fingerprinting as required by the state.
