- Valid Elementary Teaching Certificate
- Strong math skills
- Clear understanding of literacy development
- Experience utilizing small group instruction to meet the individual needs of students
- Ability to bring math concepts to real world examples
- Hands–on approach to teaching and learning
- Skills in technology integration
- Effective communication with all stakeholders
- Collaboration with teachers to promote student achievement
- Team player mindset
- Emphasis on student collaboration, problem solving, and communication
- Participation in building and district committees
- Instructional planning consistent with essential job functions and curriculum
- Use of student data to drive individual instruction
- Classroom and student behavior management skills
