Tool Maker II is an experienced skilled trade position responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, repair, and modification of production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.  This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operation.
** Available shift are:
*** 1st

Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm M-F
* 1st

Shift: 7:15am-3:15pm M-F
** Job Specific Responsibilities:
*** Manufacture, repair, modify, and maintain tools, dies, molds, fixtures, and gauges that meet production requirements.
* Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and specifications.
* Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, Lathes, grinders, Welder, etc.)
* Perform precision machining to tight tolerances using various metals and materials.
* Diagnose tooling issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
* Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
* Collaborate with engineers, production teams, and other Tool Maker personnel on tooling improvements.
* Maintain accurate documentation of tooling changes and repairs.
* Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
** Required Knowledge and

Experience:

** Requires minimum of 2 years of experience
** Nice to Have:
*** Welding experience (Mig, Tig, and Plastic Welding)
* TRAK Programming experience
* 3 years minimum experience programming CNC Machines.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
