Description SummaryThe Paint Line Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the paint line to produce high-quality finished parts in accordance with specifications and work instructions. This role also provides support to the assembly area as needed, performing various assembly-related tasks to ensure production efficiency and continuity of workflow.
Functions Paint Line Operations- Load and unload parts into CNC machines, specifically the paint line system.
- Operate paint line equipment to process and finish parts according to job instructions.
- Perform inspections of painted parts using gauges and visual checks.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate chemical levels within the paint system.
- Identify and report defective materials or issues to the supervisor or Quality team.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Complete required production logs and documentation.
- Verify paint quality by initialing production tickets.
- Ensure proper identification and handling of parts and containers.
- Assist in the assembly of components and finished goods.
- Perform basic assembly tasks such as fitting and fastening parts.
- Inspect assembled products for quality and function.
- Use hand tools and gauges as trained.
- Sort, pack, and stage parts as needed.
- Maintain part identification and labeling.
- Report defects to supervisors or Quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support team objectives as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety and MIOSHA requirements.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Participate in training and meetings.
- Follow all company Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Standards of Conduct policies.
- Report safety or quality concerns timely.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Overtime may be required. Hours are on 1st Shift - 7:00 a.m.
- 3:30 p.m.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to read work instructions
- Knowledge of gauging and inspection
- Understanding of manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks
- Tolerance for heights and tight spaces
- Physical stamina for production work
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, chemicals, and temperature changes. PPE required
