Working Hours
1st shift:
Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 5:00pm
The Assembler I role requires safe operation of assembly equipment to produce the required number of parts that meet quality standards in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Basic knowledge of standard operating procedures and processes in assembly
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, drills, air staplers
- Perform visual and dimensional quality checks
- Pack parts according to instructions
- Clearly communicate with lead and supervisor
- Remain safety conscious on the job
- Thorough clean up at end of shift
- Assist with general housekeeping tasks within work area to ensure it is neat, orderly and free from safety hazards
- Assist with 5S projects as needed
- Complete and submit two Lean Improvements per month
- Other duties may be assigned at any time
- 0-2 years of previous experience in a production facility
- Strong math skills
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well with co- workers
