Billing Clerk

Border Tire is part of the Michelin Commercial Service Network and specializes in medium‑, heavy‑, agricultural, and industrial‑size tires. We carry a wide variety of brands to meet your needs.

The Billing Clerk compiles data, computes fees, and prepares invoices. Responsibilities include computing costs, calculating rates for tires and services, tracking products, posting data, and maintaining records.

• Research and resolve customer issues.
• Create and process adjustments and refund requests.
• Manage customer credit balance reports and revenue reporting.
• Revenue reporting and month‑end system close processing.
• Purchase casings and wheels and receive them when inventory is bought.
• Bill Penske Scrap and create delivery receipts in Madden Co. for Michelin and Hankook National Accounts.
• Obtain purchase orders and file Government Sales Claims.
• Manage National Account Billing menu and reconcile credits received.
• Act as liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high‑level staff.
• Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills.
• Handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Maintain excellent time‑management and ability to multi‑task and prioritize work.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One‑year certificate from college or technical school, or three‑ to six‑month related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
