Ticket Seller

Position

Part‑time Box Office Ticket Seller. Department:
Finance.

Reports To:

Box Office Manager.

Sames Auto Arena, Laredo, TX.

• Opens and/or closes the ticket window as required.
• Accurately dispenses tickets to patrons and accepts payment & makes change.
• Maintains accurate ticket counts for hard tickets and records computer‑printed ticket counts.
• Completes daily sales reports and keeps an accurate balance sheet of cash received.
• Balances the sales and change bank, and submits cash to the Box Office Manager for audit.
• Fills reservations for seats by mail and handles Will‑Call window according to procedures.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and responds promptly to customer needs without assistance.
• Answers questions concerning prices, seating, and events and provides information about upcoming events.
• Files various records and reports and performs related clerical work.
• Maintains confidentiality concerning upcoming events and maintains a professional attitude and appearance.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Box Office Manager.

• High School diploma or G.E.D required.
• Minimum six (6) months of experience in a box office or banking environment preferred.
• Bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to count money, make change, and handle cash accurately.
• Ability to listen and follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to input data into a computer to record sales transactions.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Sames Auto Arena, Laredo, TX.
