Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Las Vegas, NV, for a Planned Giving Officer. The Planned Giving Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with donors to cultivate planned gifts, such as bequests, trusts, and other estate contributions. Daily tasks include conducting donor outreach, managing gift agreements, collaborating with financial advisors and legal professionals, creating tailored gift plans, and maintaining donor records.

The role also requires regular participation in community events and presentations to promote Vegas PBS's planned giving program.

Qualifications
  • Strong fundraising and donor relationship management skills, with experience in planned giving or development
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking and writing
  • Knowledge of estate planning, tax, and financial planning principles related to charitable giving
  • Familiarity with CRM and donor management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively
  • Experience in nonprofit or public broadcasting environments is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for donor engagements and events
