Officer, Security - Zouk Nightclub

Overview

Create a safe environment for staff and guests by enforcing all rules and regulations, providing high‑level customer service, and diffusing volatile customer interactions.

• Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, or violations.
• Uphold law and order in the venue with local law enforcement.
• Administer first aid and assist injured guests or team members.
• Answer guest questions and provide detailed venue information, communicating via radio when necessary.
• Respond professionally and rationally in emergencies and high‑pressure situations.
• Restrain or remove intoxicated, disorderly, or insubordinate guests when required.
• Assess situations, work toward resolution, and communicate status with management.
• Detain individuals involved in threats or acts of violence in accordance with policy and law.
• Maintain security and crowd control throughout areas of operation, reporting potential or actual violations.
• Request additional security support as needed.
• Check identification of guests and enforce all responsible vending guidelines.

• Experience in safe alcohol service, sanitation, and safety protocol.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient communication in English.
• Polished appearance and demeanor.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Full knowledge of company and department rules, policies, and procedures.
• Previous experience in a day club or nightclub is preferred.
• Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting is preferred.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least one year of security experience in high‑volume restaurant, nightclub, day club, pool operations, or a similar field.

• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

• Prolonged sitting/standing, bending and reaching.
• Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be able to read and write legibly.
• Observe and respond quickly to various situations.
• Move quickly as needed.
• Comply with policies, procedures, job description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS), and other instructions.

• Typical club environment with varying noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
