This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Fiber Optic Construction Technician, located in Morris County, KS. The technician will be responsible for planning and assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic networks. Day‑to‑day tasks include inspecting construction sites, performing building surveys, ensuring construction safety protocols are followed, and supporting civil engineering tasks related to fiber optic deployment and connectivity.

• Proficiency in Planning and Inspection to support efficient construction and deployment activities
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and Building Surveying techniques
• Experience adhering to and enforcing Construction Safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience in telecommunications or fiber optic installation is advantageous
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications a plus
