We are looking for an experienced Traffic Control Foreman to oversee traffic control crews and ensure safe and efficient work zones on construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, knowledge of traffic control safety standards, experience managing crews in the field, and the ability to submit daily traffic control production reports.
Pay Rate: $25-28
What You'll Do:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of traffic control crews and flaggers.
- Ensure all traffic control setups comply with company policies and safety regulations.
- Read and follow traffic control plans and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and clients regarding daily operations.
- Monitor work zones to ensure proper placement of signs, cones, barricades, and other traffic control devices.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, crew attendance, equipment usage, and production tracking.
- Submit daily traffic control production reports in a timely manner.
- Train and mentor employees on traffic control procedures and safety requirements.
- Ensure crews arrive on time and projects stay on schedule.
- Respond quickly to field issues and adjust traffic control setups as needed.
- Previous experience as a Traffic Control Foreman or similar leadership role.
- Knowledge of traffic control standards and roadway safety procedures.
- Ability to lead and manage crews in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be dependable, safety-oriented, and professional.
- Experience in roadway construction or utility projects.
- Ability to operate company trucks and traffic control equipment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- ATSSA certification or traffic control certifications preferred.
