The Christian Church in Norton, Kansas just celebrated our 150th anniversary! We are a multi-generational congregation who welcomes any and all persons to come enjoy a bible based community of people who want to learn, grow and lead. Our programming is diverse to include a large youth program of all ages including AWANA which draws over 100 elementary youth, junior and senior high youth groups, Sunday school for all ages, many small groups, Celebrate Recovery and other support groups, Pure and Simple for young women, Man Camp, and support of many missions, Lakeview Christian Camp, Men’s and Women’s encounter, and much more.
We are seeking an energetic Youth Minister who has a big heart for our youth and a drive to help them become godly students, adults, parents and community leaders. We see this being accomplished in part through direction of solid Christian programming, bible and research based methodology shared with parents and other leaders, interaction with youth at community events/outside of the church building and development/management of a core volunteer group.
