I am supporting a globally recognised pharmaceutical manufacturer seeking an experienced Automation Project Scheduler to support a major capital automation programme based in Lebanon, Indiana.
This role sits within the Automation PMO and is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analysing integrated project schedules across multiple automation work streams within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed automation project schedules.
- Integrate vendor and system integrator schedules into the master project schedule.
- Maintain alignment between automation schedules and overall project master plan.
- Analyse critical path, dependencies, constraints, milestones, and schedule variance.
- Produce schedule KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for stakeholders.
- Engage with project managers and stakeholders to obtain schedule updates.
- Support monthly reporting cycles and programme updates.
- Identify schedule delays, deviations, and support corrective action planning.
- Maintain logic-driven schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Support continuous improvement of scheduling processes within the PMO.
- 5+ years’ experience in project scheduling or project controls within pharma.
- Strong experience supporting automation projects in regulated environments.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM) and logic-driven scheduling.
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting, analysis, and KPI tracking.
- Strong organisational and data management capability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Understanding of capital project phases in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
