Start Date:
Your RoleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of a major infrastructure scheme, ensuring robust governance, financial control and contractual compliance across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Ensuring site teams adhere to group commercial procedures and governance standards
- Leading internal commercial reporting and contributing to project performance reviews
- Preparing and managing valuations/applications for payment with full supporting documentation in line with contract requirements
- Overseeing cost reporting to the client with contractually compliant detail
- Managing subcontract and material procurement schedules
- Administering subcontractor and supplier accounts from requisition through to final account agreement
- Undertaking contract administration duties, including change management and maintaining associated commercial registers
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities, including value engineering initiatives
- Ensuring accurate cost allocation and coding aligned to internal and external requirements
- Measurement of quantities in accordance with standard methods of measurement
- HND or Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, or an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step up
- Strong working knowledge of NEC forms of contract
- Experience with in civil engineering, utilities, or major infrastructure projects
- RICS / ICES registered or actively working towards chartership
- Commercially astute with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
