Overview

Thrive Personnel are seeking reliable and hardworking Wooden Shed Assembly Operatives to join our clients team.

Working Hours

6am - 2.30pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble wooden sheds, summer houses, log stores, and other timber garden buildings.
  • Read and interpret assembly instructions, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and fit timber components accurately.
  • Install doors, windows, roofing materials, and hardware fittings.
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as required.
  • Report any material shortages, defects, or production issues to supervisors.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in shed assembly, carpentry, joinery, woodworking, or a similar manufacturing role.
  • Competent in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Good practical and manual dexterity skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and technical drawings accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good time management and reliability.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience assembling garden buildings or timber frame structures.
  • Forklift licence (if applicable).
  • Health and Safety or Construction-related qualifications.
  • Basic understanding of timber materials and woodworking techniques.
