Wigston – 18 month fixed term contract – Up to £13.74 per hour – Full Time (Monday to Friday). Hybrid working available.

We are supporting a well‑established Wigston‑based business in its search for a reliable Premises Officer.

This role is varied, active and ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem solving and ensuring everything behind the scenes runs safely and smoothly day to day.

• Carrying out general site maintenance and basic repair tasks
• Ensuring internal and external areas are clean, safe and presentable
• Supporting with room, furniture and equipment set‑ups
• Assisting with planned maintenance checks and contractor support
• Monitoring supplies and reporting maintenance issues
• Carrying out and supporting legionella checks and associated compliance tasks
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

• A practical, hands‑on approach
• Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance or similar environment (desirable but not essential)
• Experience carrying out legionella checks and understanding of basic water hygiene compliance
• Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace
• Strong communication skills and a team‑focused approach
• A willingness to get involved and support where needed
