Job OverviewFull‑time Maintenance Worker with benefits. Responsible for the upkeep and repair of the Navy Lodge facility, performing carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC and other general maintenance tasks to support operations and guest services.
Responsibilities- Conduct preventative maintenance and take periodic inventory of maintenance stock and equipment.
- Perform general carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical tasks involved in the alteration, repair, and maintenance of buildings and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on washers, dryers, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Follow local safety regulations and forward hazardous conditions to the supervisor.
- Maintain buildings, grounds, fixtures, and equipment for the Navy Lodge and NEXCOM Hospitality Group guest rooms.
- Complete additional assignments such as painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs as needed.
- Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
- Required to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in tiring or uncomfortable positions.
- Frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 45 pounds unassisted and 100 pounds assisted.
- Will work both indoors and outdoors.
- Must pass a pre‑employment criminal and background check.

General experience: 1 year in maintenance, covering buildings, grounds, fixtures, and equipment. Substitution of education for experience:
One year of high school education may be substituted for 3 months of general experience up to a High School Diploma or GED for one year of general experience. Specialized experience:
Three years in painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
Standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in tiring or uncomfortable positions; frequently lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
