Nursing Instructor - Coos Bay, OR (On-Site)

Kaplan North America seeks experienced Master’s prepared nurses passionate about helping new nursing graduates succeed on the NCLEX exam. This role offers teachers paid training and ongoing support to build teaching, presenting, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain high energy level and ability to engage students to ensure an excellent student experience.
  • Effectively facilitate learning and learner development.
  • Learn our methodology and strategies quickly.
  • Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management.
  • Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops and ongoing instructional meetings as required.
Academic and Clinical Qualifications
  • MSN or BSN with a Master’s degree required.
  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nursing license.
  • 5+ years of clinical nursing experience required.
  • Previous teaching/training experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and leadership skills.
  • Weekday availability required.
