Role DescriptionThis full-time, hybrid role (75% remote, 25% onsite), located in Lenexa, KS, is for a Network Operations Specialist. The role involves managing and maintaining client network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. Tasks include monitoring and troubleshooting network operations, providing technical support, addressing network issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve problems efficiently. Occasional travel for implementation planning and onboarding assessment is required.
The role can be remote or in office, but does require the ability to be in office for occasional special projects. Required travel is minimal, but preference will be afforded to those willing to travel to client sites regularly.
- Minimum 3 years experience in managing IP-based networks in the healthcare space working in Network Administration, Computer Network Operations, or an MSP environment.
- Working knowledge and practical experience with network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience in NOC operations, including monitoring and supporting network systems
- Strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex network issues, including working with third parties (ISP, telecom, external vendors).
- Ability to deliver Technical Support to end users and internal teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA+, Fortinet NSE) are preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
