There will also be opportunities to work with colleagues across Alberta on a more provincial scope. This position also investigates more complex technical problems for which existing precedent is not currently available and will sometimes involve escalating the issue to more senior staff or a specialized technical team for resolution. The successful candidate must be able to communicate complex information effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a variety of clients.

As an IT Customer Support II, you will provide advanced technical support to a variety of users across AHS for information technology issues in accordance with AHS standards and practices.

Required Qualifications
Completion of certificate in Computer Support or equivalent.

Class 5 driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years recent deskside experience. Proven customer service skills and experience in an organization of significant size and complexity are an asset. Previous experience in a healthcare environment is a definite asset.
