Requirements- Assess and triage emergency patients rapidly and accurately to prioritize care
- Administer IV therapy, medications, and blood products safely and in a timely manner
- Provide emergency care including advanced cardiac life support interventions when needed
- Document nursing assessments, interventions, teaching, and patient responses thoroughly
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Respond to urgent and critical situations with composure and evidence-based practice
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in the required state
- BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1+ year of nursing experience required
- At least 1 year of prior critical care or emergency nursing experience required
- Clean licensure and background record; travelers with license/background actions will not be accepted
- Must not be a previous employee of St. Mary's (per client requirement)
- Comfortable working rotating day and night 12-hour shifts
