OverviewThis position reports to the Director of Engineering. You will develop training on various aspects of industrial control systems, evaluate new technologies, and support our project delivery teams to provide high‑quality professional services to our customers.
Responsibilities- Work with the training department to develop and execute training for Automation Specialists and other technical employees, including how to develop BOMs, I/O lists, and requirements for control panels.
- Develop PLC programs in Ladder, Function Block, and other languages.
- Create human‑machine interface (HMI) designs.
- Develop hardware and software test plans and write simulation logic for testing of PLC and HMI systems.
- Test new products and technologies.
- Develop company standards.
- Interface with manufacturers and vendors of software.
- Work with others to address design problems as necessary.
- Help project delivery teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair programming and system failures.
- 5 years of industrial automation experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industrial controls experience.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Physical requirements and work environment expectations vary by position; generally moderate noise, occasional exposure to outdoor weather, work at heights or around airborne particles and electrical components. Physical activities may include standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and use of hands, arms, and voice communication.
