Compensation
The starting hourly pay range is $21.50–$23.50, and the full hourly pay range is $21.50–$36.55. Pay is based on labor market and qualifications such as education, work experience, and certifications.

- Deliver guest‑experience commitments and create an easy, inspiring, and friendly experience.
- Train and coach team members on Target’s guest‑experience commitments and operational expectations.
- Observe and provide feedback to team members, holding them accountable and recognizing positive guest service moments.
- Analyze financial, operational, and guest‑metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive results.
- Promote inclusivity and equitable guest experiences across a diverse team.
- Lead a team of guest advocates, service advocates, and front‑of‑store attendants, focusing on guest satisfaction.
- Execute best practices in onboarding, training, coaching, and skill‑gap coverage.
- Use sales and guest insights to plan daily/weekly workload and meet store sales goals.
- Support Target Loyalty programs and educate teams on benefits.
- Assist lead team members with training, development conversations, and critical performance discussions.
- Maintain guest satisfaction during capture, pick‑up, and drive‑up services, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Model ethical conduct and accountability, fostering a safety culture while addressing incidents.
- Implement security procedures to enhance in‑store safety.
- Support merchandise protection, ordering, and storage as required.
- Assume limited store‑level LOD duties as necessary.
- Perform all other duties as directed by business needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Prior retail experience preferred, but not required.
- Leadership ability and accountability for others.
- Strong communication skills on multiple‑frequency devices and handheld scanners.
- Independent task management and teamwork.
- Customer‑centric attitude toward all guests and teammates.
- Capacity to remain focused in a fast‑paced environment.
- Access all store areas to resolve guest or team member issues.
- Read and act on instructions, reports, and information.
- Accurately handle cash register operations and cash office processes.
- Move merchandise safely, lifting or carrying up to 44 pounds.
- Climb ladders as needed.
- Adapt to varying schedules, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Work in varying temperatures, humidity, or environments such as drive‑up or carry‑out.
- Remain mobile throughout the scheduled shift.
