The Sr Business Analyst – Plant Order Engineering role supports this transformation by modernizing systems, driving efficiency, and shaping a future of speed and innovation.
Responsibilities- Lead the identification of order engineering/application engineering business requirements and the development of the customer story backlog for SAP.
- Serve as a Change Agent, supporting the Product Owner in resolving issues between legacy and future‑state ERP systems.
- Manage the transfer of SAP knowledge to Key Users, data owners, and the local management team.
- Work with key stakeholders to identify and understand their needs.
- Capture feedback from users and identify enhancements of existing functionality.
- Lead and participate in stakeholder workshops.
- Create and validate end‑to‑end process flows for manufacturing plants.
- Contribute to the localization of project documentation (training materials, test scripts, etc.).
- Be accountable for site readiness (planning, support, audit, training).
- Act as the business representative for the program with a deep understanding of current order engineering/application engineering processes and systems.
- Be accountable for business transformation, solution decisions, data accuracy, and organizational change management.
- Participate in end‑user training.
- Hold Key Users and Data Owners accountable for project deliverables.
- Lead the Key Users and project team participation in solution testing.
- Tight deadlines and multiple priorities that require decisive decision‑making in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to work outside the standard 8–5 schedule, across time zones, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required by tight project deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a competitive work environment.
- Managing and collaborating remotely.
- Hybrid role with up to 50 % travel.
Reports to:
Sr Product Owner – Logistics & Distribution (North America).
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering (application/mechanical or related field).
- 3–5 years of experience in order engineering, plant engineering, or related fields.
- Knowledge of order engineering/application engineering operations and business processes across plants.
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as ACE, Order Engineering systems, and Order Data Management systems.
- Experience with Engineer‑to‑Order, Configure‑to‑Order, and Make‑to‑Order processes.
- Strong data‑analysis skills.
- Change‑management and communication skills.
- Leadership and management skills.
- Ability to balance a workload while working on multiple priorities.
