General Labor, Warehouse Associate
American Tire Distributors (ATD) is looking for a Warehouse I worker to support our national tire distribution operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking, staging, and loading product, operating powered industrial vehicles, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Position Overview• Pay: $18.00/hour
• Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 5:00PM – 2:00AM
• Warehouse location:
Western North Carolina Distribution Center
- Prioritize and pick product to fill orders and stage for loading.
- Physically move and lift product weighing up to 150pounds.
- Organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment.
- Assist in daily warehouse closing procedures and report damaged or obsolete stock.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and maintain required operator licenses.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, handling items up to 50pounds and using team lifting for heavier items.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including parking lots, loading docks, and surrounding areas.

- High school diploma or GED.
- 0–1 year of related warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Knowledge of policy & procedures, storage, and verbal communication skills.
Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, hand use, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50pounds or performing team lifts for heavier items. The role requires exposure to weather conditions, moderate noise levels, and 5% travel. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
