Overview

Job responsibilities include monitoring and adjusting material master data settings for all parts to ensure the Safety Stock, supplier contact information, and all other necessary master data fields are correct; determining items to be ordered and generating purchase orders; optimizing material master data and related settings to improve efficiency in order acknowledgment, production, inventory management and shipping to meet customer demands;

monitoring and improving planning KPIs; leading continuous improvement in information flow between customers, sales and supplying plants using lean principles; supporting new product introductions and engineering changes; managing supplier escalations; data analysis to uncover improvement potentials and root causes of supply chain issues; and performing other essential duties as assigned.

• Monitor and adjust material master data settings for all parts to ensure accuracy of Safety Stock, supplier contact information, and other necessary master data fields.
• Determine items to be ordered, generate purchase orders, and follow up on system-proposed changes.
• Continuously optimize material master data and other settings to achieve highest efficiency in acknowledging, producing, managing inventory, and shipping to meet customer demand.
• Monitor, analyze and improve key performance indicators for planning (e.g., delivery performance, inventory, costs).
• Lead continuous improvement efforts in information flow between customer, sales and supplying plants to enhance the material supply chain and service level by applying lean principles.
• Support new product introductions (phase-ins/phase-outs) and engineering/revision changes with sales, production teams and supplying plants to meet customer requirements while minimizing obsolescence risk.
• Initiate and manage escalations with suppliers to resolve supply chain issues.
• Analyze data to uncover improvement potentials and determine root causes of supply chain issues.
• Perform other essential and related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or a similar discipline from an accredited institution (e.g., CHEA) or 5 years’ experience in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Capacity Planning, Production Planning, Purchasing or related field.
• MS Office familiarity.
• Proficiency with IT systems used in Logistics (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, database software such as Excel or Power BI, data mining).
• Customer-focused and clear communication skills for face to face, phone, email, and Teams.
• Operate well with little oversight and be able to make decisions and take calculated risks.

Working outside of standard office hours may be required on short notice.

The pay range for this position is $65,000-$70,000 per year, based on experience.
