- Act as the on‑site project leader to plan, implement, and complete control systems projects for assigned customers
- Design hardware, program systems, coordinate installation, perform commissioning, and close out projects
- Manage project finances, including costs, billings, collections, and pursuing change orders
- Communicate with customers throughout all phases of the project to ensure satisfaction and compliance
- Provide leadership and direction to subcontractors, installers, technicians, designers, and administrative staff
- Ensure all work complies with state, local, and federal legal requirements and the company's safety and ethics standards
- Oversee procurement, ordering, budgeting, and delivery of materials and subcontractors
- Coordinate hardware installations, device verifications, and system controller commissioning
- Prepare accurate as‑built and commissioning documentation
- Mentor and provide technical assistance to system technicians, electrical installers, and system designers
- Report project status, revenue, and profit forecasts to management on a monthly basis
- Send warranty letters and ensure proper warranty execution after project completion
- Develop project plans, coordinate resources, and maintain long‑term relationships with contractors, clients, and consultants
- Adhere to safety standards and promote high regard for employee and subcontractor safety
- Technical associate’s degree with at least two years of field experience or four years of related field experience
- Experience in Access Control, Fire, Video, and/or systems design and commissioning
- Valid licensing, certifications, and relevant hands‑on experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Strong personal computer skills
- Knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems
- Knowledge of project accounting, costing principles, and contracting
Salary range: $82,000 – $106,000. Bonus plan based on individual, group, and corporate performance. Competitive benefits package as listed above.
